The program is optional for anyone who drives less than 12,000km annually and includes the use of a telematics device. Anyone interested in the program can purchase insurance in 1000km increments, within a 12-month policy term thereby controlling their costs by driving less. You will be billed in 1000km increments in advance of using them. Notices will be sent when you have used 750km, 900km and 950km. At 950km you will automatically be charged for your next 1000kms. The device monitors the kilometers and will alert you when each 1000km increment is close to being exhausted.
